Mini Vacuum Former – TUERCA LAB This is a compact vacuum former designed for small-scale models (1:43 / 1:24). The design focuses on simplicity, fast airflow, and ease of printing. Internal angled walls improve suction distribution and reduce dead zones, making it ideal for small thermoforming tasks. The model is fully printable in PLA without supports and optimized for use with a handheld vacuum cleaner. Specifications: Build area: 120 x 120 mm Overall size: 178 x 178 x 55 mm Grid hole diameter: Ø6 mm Hole spacing: 13 mm (center to center) Recommended use: Thin plastic sheets (0.3–0.5 mm PET/PVC) Diorama parts Scale windows and covers Tips: Ensure proper sealing between frame and base Use a foam gasket for better vacuum performance Heat the plastic evenly before forming Designed and tested in Córdoba, Argentina.
