Description

The Drowned Front naval themed terrain continues with the Giant Anchor set! Perfect for Trench Warfare, Grimdark, and any Weird War or Fantasy setting. The Giant Anchor has been engraved with the text "et miserunt eum in mare - et stetit mare a fervore suo" (I'll leave the surprise finding the reference!). It has enough room in the base to provide some cool gameplay opportunities and for miniatures to move around (cover from multiple angles). Set includes barnacle version of the anchor, and also a non-barnacle version if you wish to use that instead. The metal surfaces of the anchor have been texturized with rust and scratches, so this should take drybrushing and washes + rust effects super well! Goes perfectly together with my Shipwrecks, Docks and Naval Gun (and with other "Drowned Front" sets I will release in the future) The cross beams are separate from the anchor itself. This helps you to print this one support free (I made a few test runs and there was only very minor scarring - but if you'd like to avoid that very small imperfection I recommend adding tree support to the small overhang on backside of the anchor shaft, near the top part. Personally I'd just print just as it is because the scarring is very minor and will be easy to just mask as rust). Set includes:- 1x Giant Anchor (Barnacle version)- 1x Giant Anchor- 2x cross beams (Not sure what these are called! They slot into the anchor, just add a bit superglue) Works super well for custom naval themed scenarios…
