Description

Wanted a way to mount LEDs to the underside of my LACK Enclosure. The angle of the lights are pointed directly to the center of the build plate and provide enough light to see everything. I printed 3 Corners and 1 Corner Plug and then 4 Straights. The corner plug allows for the wire of the led strip to fit through. I mounted the parts using self tapping screws into the wood (be careful not to over tighten and damage the printed part) and then stuck the LED strip onto the ring and cut to size. I then spot hot glued around the led strip to make sure it wouldn't fall over time. I then ran the wire down the back leg of the LACK table then to the control box which was mounted under the bottom of the printer. 12/14/2021Thanks to rdprosser for designing light diffusers to help break up the light. If you are interested in the diffusers I have added he link below.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5139037
