Grappling Hook

Description

After my boys kept trying to make grappling hooks out of paper clips, I decided to print safer versions for them. I designed this grappling hook to be printed in 4 pieces in order to maximize strength. Ensure the flat side of hook prints parallel to the build plate. This will require supports under the hook and along the threads, but it will align the print layers to maximize the strength of the hooks. Post processing - sand the flat sides of the threading section to ensure they join well with each other. The nut may be too tight to thread well depending on print settings. If this happens, sand the flat sides of the threading sections until the nut threads on completely.
