Description

This part is a screed mounting bracket, designed to provide a mechanical connection between a servomotor and a moving structure. It features: An inverted "U" shape, providing a central mounting base and two symmetrical side tabs for balanced support. A triple-hole system, comprising two coaxial holes on the side walls for a pivot pin, and a central hole on the base for attachment to the motor’s mounting bracket. Reinforced circular shoulders surrounding the side holes to increase the contact area and limit premature wear caused by rotational friction. A compact, one-piece design optimized to transmit high torque while minimizing mechanical backlash. Its primary use is as a joint coupling for actuators in robotics. It converts the rotation of the servomotor into a pivoting motion for a robot arm, gripper, or leg. It is commonly found in model aircraft steering systems, drone joints, or as a connection interface for radio-controlled aircraft control surfaces requiring reliable and precise force transmission.
