Frog Idols A large-sized primitive stone Frog Idol on a pedestal, and a smaller-sized stone Frog Idol on a pillar of balanced rocks. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. These crudely-carved stone idols speak of a primitive culture that fervently worships some kind of great amphibian god. Build up the drama by using the small idols as scatter terrain in swampland encounters, and then hold out the big idol for when players are moving into the frog-people’s great temple, or encounter the fearsome Dragon Frog, or…I don’t know, whatever. It’s your game: you do you! The large idol is hollowed to save on resin, and the small idols have a cavity in the bottom where you can glue in a 1/8” high by 3/16” diameter cylinder magnet. Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paint-ability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. These Frog idols were sculpted for use as background terrain in my Dragon Frog Kickstarter, but have never been released until now. All Dark-Platypus Studios models are sculpted by sculptor Andrew K. Barlow (me), and no AI is ever involved. All models have been checked…
