IKEA SVALLET Wall Mount Conversion

The IKEA Svallet lamp is nice looking and cheap (in Poland about 15 PLN, ~4.1 USD). Unfortunately, in my opinion, these are its only good points. I bought it as a desk lamp, but the lack of any adjustment is a big problem.Most light bulbs stick out, so the light is too strong and hurts the eyes. It stayed unused for a long time. After moving to another apartment, I needed a reading light above my bed.So I decided to modify it into a wall lamp, keeping the original lampshade. To mount it, you only need two 6x40 mm hammer fixings. The lamp can be rotated about 90 degrees —from a right angle: 20° up and 70° down.
