Design ConceptThis is a bust of my dragon character named Drathal which is 180mm tall and is ideal for painting and then mounted for display purposes. The concept highlights fierce expressions and detailed scales to capture a sense of majesty and power without showing the whole dragon's body.PurposeThis model serves as a decorative item intended for collectors and enthusiasts of fantasy art and mythology. It can be showcased on shelves or desks to enhance the ambiance of any room.Printing SuggestionsUse high-resolution settings to capture intricate details, ensuring the dragon scales and facial features are well-defined. A 0.1mm layer height is recommended however at 180mm tall 0.16mm is sufficient. If printing at a smaller size, use 0.1mm otherwise details like the eyes may disappear. Supports - I have found that if printed face down tree supports work best. If on it's back, as pictured use standard supports.Assembly InstructionsThis bust is designed as a single-piece print, eliminating the need for assembly. Post-processing may include supports removal and optional painting (highly recommended) to enhance visual appeal. Care must be taken removing supports to avoid damaging the thin "mane" that goes down the back of the neck.
