VW phone mount older generation

Description

I needed a part to cleanly and securely mount a magsafe charger to the built-in phone holder. After trying out existing options, i wanted something hard-mounted, so i decided to remodel the original backing plate from scratch, to be able to screw anything into it directly.No modifications to the original mount needed, just unscrew the two screws holding the original plate (last picture) and replace it.Hardware required:2x M3*6mm cap head hex socket screw2x M3x5x4 heat set insertsI recommend printing it in PETG, ABS or ASA, as PLA won't be able to take the heat of a hot car.Recommended print settings:15% gyroid infill3 walls3 bottom layers5 top layers0.16 resolutionFor my use case scenario, i used model 782969 off a popular printable website, cut it to my required specs and added the necessary holes directly in the slicer.For anyone wanting to make their own/improve on my design, i have also attached the step file.
