As my "learning how to 3d print" project I designed an enclosure. This is basic geometry but it helped me familiarize myself with the tools of the programs and learn the ins and outs of the Ender 3 v3 CoreXZ.It is designed to be as modular as possible. I intended to end up with a 26x26 outside diameter footprint, leaving a 24v24 inside usable space. Using that as inspiration, I set it up with 6 inch long 1x1 o.d. sections that could be assembled with a joint connector that inserts inside the hollow square tube. I intentionally cut the 6 inch tubes 2mm short to account for the connector flange thickness and give a small margin of error, so it is just shy of 24x24 inside when assembled. You could make it any size you wish by simply adding more or less sections of tubing. Keep in mind that you may need to incorporate more supports if you do longer stretches.The triple corner piece has an embossed letter "V" on the end of one piece. This is the piece that should be used along the vertical axis of your corner. If not, you will not have proper alignment of the predrilled holes for connecting everything.I tied it all together with some simple #8 sheet metal screws. (I already had them and they worked wonderfully in the pre-drilled holes in the model.) The holes are 3mm pilot holes to prevent splitting and cracking. Walls are 3mm thick.I printed this with PLA I then included mirror clips for attaching the plexiglass to all sides, followed by hinges. The hinges are designed to slot…
