This project kind of came to me in a moment of intense inebreation. Couldn't find a decent cheap vesa mount and want to get cancer from my monitor from sitting so close (my mom's words). This desk riser showed how wiggly my cheapo vesa mounts really are. This is the first version. Print at your own discretion.I intend to refine and make changes but I know I'll have more thoughts about what I want to change after a few weeks of use.Feedback is GREATLY appreciated. You'll need:x4 1in wooden dowels of your desired lengthx1 1kg of filamentx? sandpaperx1 Provided 10mm driverYou'll print:x1 10mm @ 4walls 15% infillx2 legs @ 4walls 15% infillx3 - x4 full brace kits @ 2walls 15% infill-option center leg for extra support @ 4walls 15% infill-option legs with 28x40mm socket @ 4walls 15% infillAll the legs come with 10mm mount sockets, the option one is a 28mm x 50mm socket.Braces have a phone craddle but you can point them backwards and use the clean side if undesired. The optional center support has a short foot thats slightly offset to accomodate keyboards.Sanding is suggested, they will barely fit otherwise. I took x2 6ft 1in wooden dowels and cut them in half for x4 3ft wooden dowels. I found 3ft tolerable. Staining them would add a nice touch.
