G9 lamp cone shade

Description

I made this shade for a 3-lamp ceiling light fixture that had missing glass shades. The fixture initially used halogen bulbs, which would be too hot even for ASA, but as I've moved to LED, this shade works perfectly. I printed with white ASA, and it's got just the right translucence to look great when printed with 2 walls of thickness. With LED you could probably get away with PETG, but I think you may have heat deformation issues with materials like PLA. I remixed the shade from the threaded base ring model, so you can just thread the whole shade on as one piece. No need for fiddly retaining nuts anymore.
