3D Printable mini arcade trackball for use with your favorite emulators and DIY projects. Intended for trackball style arcade games, which typically have 3 buttons on the left side of the trackball.See https://github.com/dekkit/Mini-Arcade-Trackball for latest information, further printing instructions, and examples.This small size and 3 button layout is ideal for classic trackball arcade games like Missile Command, Marble Madness, Golden Tee, and various bowling games etc. Using a slightly curved top to make it much more comfortable to rest your palms on and play on.Most cheap arcade trackballs found on online marketplaces (for approx. $25-35) use a PS/2 connector which can be easily converted to usb with a cheap ps/2 to usb converter (approx. $5). When plugged into a PC, these trackball function as a 3 button mouse. Sensitivity can be customised further in the operating system and each of the 3 buttons can be mapped within your emulator (e.g. MAME etc).I've adapted my previous 'mini' case to comfortably fit a common trackball. This included reducing the curve of the top panel to enable me to fit having 3 x buttons in a comfortable arc formation, increasing the height of the middle section to allow space for the mounting bolts that are ~60mm in length, and making the base thicker (which will make it take longer to print). Most trackball cabinets tend to have the buttons to the left and the trackball to the right (you can mirror the top panel if you need buttons on the right…
