Cube Hexagonal DissectionA cube can be dissected using a hexagon that contains the midpoints of the central edges of the cube when viewed along one space diagonal. It is simple and mathematically interesting. Try to find the area and perimeter of the hexagonal cross section. How about the Dihedral angle between the hexagonal plane to the cube base? To make it playful, I added a slide so one can keep the two pieces together. The whole cube can be printed in one piece at 0.2mm or less. The cube is 50mm^3.
