Description

Made for a 50 mm x 50 mm x 5 mm (copper) plate (400A) and 35 mm M8 screws. The copper plate is not yet built in, as I am still waiting for delivery (AliExpress). Once built in, it should stand out exactly 1 mm, and the 50×50 space has also a small tolerance of 0.80 mm (50.8 mm).You can also easily fit the thinner plate by inserting screw washers beneath the plate on every screw (before inserting the plate :).Cover outer dimensions are 75 mm x 75 mm x 35 mm with 4 bottom snap-in latches (one on each side and in the middle parts only). The lash curbs on the bottom part are slightly offset to let the cover sit tighter and not make any noise near the vibration. The cover does not go all the way down (2 mm space—see 3D part...). The cover is built for horizontal use, so if you need it for vertical build, you may reconsider the covering system. The plate holder bottom allows for 1 mm of space between the M8 head and the bottom surface. Despite mounting this on the wood, I will cover it with green battery paper. One can also use regular isolation tape or whatever else non-conductive material. You can also measure the bottom dimensions, and print an extra bottom cover if you are mounting it on a conductive material. The 4 bottom fixing screws have a diameter of M4. Printed with the ABS (shrinking parameters calculated within, and it's all calculated tightly, from the holes to cover, it all fits, if it doesn't, just use a bit of force or clean the leftover seams of the model).
