Th is mammal digs deep into the dry soil of the Grayfynn plains during the heat of the day, searching for deep rooted plants and, at night, moves slowly above ground for fresher fare. Evidence of its passing is clear for most predators, a long dragging tail that often leads to a massive hole in the earth. When found underground, the rather docile looking mammal can turn surprisingly aggressive. When cornered, the korruk raises its dermal plates in a threatening display and will ferociously slash with its stone breaking claws, capable of cutting through flesh with devastating ease.
