Dirthana took a blessing from Vaezirak upon herself, which inflicted an agonizing metamorphosis upon her, though her new form has brought her closer to Irinax than ever before. For over a century Dirthana has graciously served her Lady Irinax, the wicked web weaver who lives in the shadows beneath the world. In that time she has converted thousands of her kin to worship him beside her, whether by blade or by tongue. Thousands more she has condemned to death as heretics for their refusal to bow to her will. When Vaezirak emerged in the depths of Lo Fuin’s underground, whispers from the void wreathed her calloused mind. They spoke to her of a prophet in the depths, the messiah to vanquish the unbelievers and bring about the complete domination of Irinax, once and for all. Dirthana thus sought out this messiah, travelling into the depths of the abyss deeper than any of her kin had ever tread, finding the mesmerising form of her Lady’s prophet, once sprawling from the body of a spider, marred by flesh-consuming fungi.
