A replica of the Eridian clock from Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary. The numbers are set by hand and lock securely into place thanks to built-in magnets. The model is about 30 cm tall, making it a great decorative piece for a desk or shelf. It's best to print it in black. This matches the look from the movie. You may want to use some silver dry brushing over the structure. Support material is only needed for the numbers The magnets are simply pressed in or glued in place after printing. A great project for all fans of the movie and the book! You need magnets of 5mm x 1mm. Per Number, you only need 5 magnets (3 on the base, 2 on the numbers but you can use more to get a more grippy result.
