The Batcopter is Batman's personal helicopter, an iconic vehicle that has appeared in both DC comics and film and television adaptations. Although less well-known than the Batmobile, it has been instrumental in several of the Dark Knight's aerial missions. TV Series (1966): This is probably the most famous version. It was introduced in the 1966 film starring Adam West and Burt Ward. For the production, a real Bell 47 G3B-1 helicopter (registration N3079G) was leased and modified with canvas wings and tubular frames.
