I created this model for my friend to record the amount of miles they have cycled in a year. All parts were printed face down to give a better finish than ironing. Main Board the main board was printed face down for the textured plate finish which i always liked better than ironing. The holes were present for all the parts to be glued in later. I used PETG for support so that i had no problem with support removal and gave a nice clean finish. White Boarder The white boarder and mountain scene were split from the main board and connectors added to make it easier to align when gluing. The boarder was printed face down for the same finish and removed the need for support due to the connectors. Wording The wording was replicated from the main board and scaled to 98% before printing this allowed for a good fit. It was then glued onto the main board. Logo The cycling logo was again replicated from the main board and printed at 98% size to create a good fit on the main board. This was also printed face down to give a textured finish. This could esily be changed to trainers for running or any other logo to suit needs. Box and Number tiles I created a simple snap box to hold 3 sets of the tiles, this can easily be extended to 4 sets if required. The text on the lid I added but is not on the main build. You can add it as a modifier if you wish to do your own.
