The term gaja, meaning “elephant,” evokes both agricultural prosperity and regal strength. Traditionally venerated by farmers and rulers alike, her blessings encompass both sustenance and authority. Gaja Lakshmi is shown seated on a pink lotus, flanked by a pair of white elephants—male and female—who pour sacred waters from vessels.
