Pentagonia

Description

This design started as some improvements to https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/home/whatisit3-birk, but the changes became so extensive I decided to rename the final result as a new design. Can you tell what all the changes were? Here's a hint: there are no circular shapes in this design - only pentagons. The description for Whatisit3 explains the source for this design and shows a photo of it. If you want to print this on a non-delta style printer be aware that it is 271.90m mm high. You can split it into 2 pieces at Z=122.0. This is in the middle of the horizontal section that supports the spiral top part. You can also do this if your printer can't print the horizontal part without supports. That's how I made this print and it required only minimal cleanup. Note that I used Orca slicer for this print - other slicers might not do as well with unsupported overhangs.
