Should work at a variety of quality levels, but I myself used .12mm, 20% infill, basic PLA. I've found that lower quality modes (thicker layers) can make the threads really rough.What It DoesThis is a custom adapter that fits into the food dispenser of the PetSafe automatic pet feeder, to allow a sort of "elephant trunk" to be attached. I use it on the "Healthy Pet Simply Feed" model, though I think it should also work just fine on the "Smart Feed" model, based on how many accessories online are listed for both models, though I cannot confirm it. It provides a connector to route the dispensed food into a 1 3/4" (inner diameter) tube/hose. It is useful for those who have pets who chew on/mess with the feeder itself (or for pets who have genetically engineered mutant intelligence like Caesar and learned how to operate the buttons). With this adapter, you can put the feeder up on a shelf, or otherwise route the food into a creative location, like the puzzle feeder I use that you can see in my photo. Almost every other PetSafe adapter/attachment I have seen is just a splitter or bowl holder, so this is the only design I know of that does this particular job (other than one other I saw online which had what I considered a design flaw).Design & Usage NotesIt took a LOT of time and trial and error to perfect the 3D model to fit correctly.
