El diseño incluye un seguro (pieza blanca) que evita que el peine se desarme al momento de correrlo por los cables, ofreciendo un uso cómodo y estable. Además, si se desea utilizar con cables de menor sección, se puede escalar el modelo en el laminador (por ejemplo, al 60% para cables de hasta 1,5 mm).
