Description

I still needed two wall lights to design my hallway in the LZ-129 style. What could be more obvious than printing them? I used 18 glass rods Ø6mm and 200mm long as a diffusing lens. You can find these under - Laboratory supplies glass stirring rods - at various dealers. The holes in the upper part are much deeper than in the lower part. This allows the light to be assembled and the rods to be hung in afterwards. Fix at the bottom with a drop of glue. There is a translucent cover behind the glass rods to conceal the yellow of the LED strip when it is switched on. The finished print file 0.6 is attached. The two STL variants 0.4 and 0.8mm thickness for the aperture are intended for experimentation. A BRIM is always required for printing! The finished aperture is inserted into the groove last. A recess is provided in the lower part for a "smart" version. The WIFI control parts come in a white housing - I carefully removed this to save space. The LED (5mm wide) 4000k is wrapped around an aluminum tube Ø25x1.5mm (available at hardware stores) without spacing. This allows the heat loss to be dissipated well. Saw a 45° bevel at the top and bottom to make it easier to screw the tube to the housing. I think the pictures are all informative... The LED consumption in my version is 3.50m. Operating voltage 24V- You can see the fully assembled lights in the final picture. Thank you for downloading .... Have fun and success with the execution !
