My Pelican brand Stand Up Paddle Board weighs 22.7kg (50 lbs) and is awkward to carry from car to water. To assist with portaging, I designed a Trolley based on 2 small lawnmower tires and 6mm shaft. The Trolley supports the Paddle Board on one end, and the other end can be easily lifted with one hand and pushed towards the water. The 2 wheels are mounted at ±15° angles to improve stability and to prevent tipping. The Pelican board I have is 150mm thick (6-inches). If yours is thinner, it can be lined with padding to help improve stability.
