Líder de la banda de motociclistas “Los Cápsula”. Carismático, impulsivo y con fuerte sentido de lealtad hacia Tetsuo. Su diseño es uno de los íconos más reconocibles del anime y manga. Manga creado por Katsuhiro Otomo (1982–1990). Ambientado en Neo-Tokio postapocalíptico. Aquí se desarrolla con mayor profundidad la personalidad y evolución de Kaneda. Campera roja con el símbolo de la cápsula en la espalda. Moto futurista roja (uno de los vehículos más icónicos del anime). Estética cyberpunk con influencia de los años 80.
