Description

This is a tray for Tamiya 40ml Jars and will hold 9 Jars in a 3x3 grid.Tamiya use the 40ml Square Bottles for Thinners, Cements and Accents At home, I have a range of modeling paints that I use and they are all roughly stored in a draw, when I bought a FDM printer I thought about these designs to create boxes to help store paints from different paint manufacturers that all fit together. The idea was to create a universal tray for each type of paint that can be stored on top of each other. The size of the tray has been designed to be 160mm x 160mm and will therefore fit on most FDM printers. The lid has also been designed to be printed inverted so the build plate pattern will be on top of the lid enhancing to look.The chequered effect on the base and the top of the lid also helps with reducing the chance of warping when printing. The example in the pictures was printed on a Bambu Labs A1 FDM Printer (0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm layer height).This design is best printed on an FDM printer (filament). I am creating storage boxes for different manufacturers like Humbrol, RailMatch, Revel, Phoenix, etc I will add links below. All the holders from all the manufacturers will be designed to be stacked together in the same 160mm x 160mm box but with varying heights. All designs are tested before sharing online.
