I love my original Kossel Delta Printer, But i hate that it only has a small print bed. So this project is to enlarge my Kossel to the full size 220 print bed. I am using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:154832 as part of my rebuild of my delta. please give credit to https://www.thingiverse.com/Crashoverride for his help in designing this upgraded Delta. I used #8 3/4 Self Drilling Screws to mount the 3/4 inch Aluminum square tube to the printed ends. I just did my final Calculations on this Upgrade. This new design can print on a 225mmx844mm area or 9 1/16"x33 1/4" area. Final Print size is 230x509.5 or a max of 230x527.5 6/5/2017: Update. I had some problems getting the Extruder base to sit level when i was doing the Dry Run process. so I've updated the RODS to 300mm from Center to Center. With that update I was able to get a print surface of 250x475. SIDE NOTE "I'm not trying to take credit for all of the stl files, yes I have modified them to work on my design. and yes you may have seen them on https://www.thingiverse.com. But I wouldn't say I have designed all of them just MOD them for this Printer." 6-12-2017: as of today, the new EX Delta is done and working. I've added springs to bed so I can adjust them. I've also added a second power supply to power the bed, it was taking way to long to heat extruder and bed at same time, so second power supply with a 25 amp power module.
