Hedgehog House (Modular/Flat pack format)

Description

Designed to be easy to print and build, the Hedgehog House (Modular) was designed to provide some security for Hedgie from small domestic animals such as cats, whilst allowing the builder to extend it to suit their requirements. With declining numbers of Hedgehogs, it is important for us to help keep them safe and secure to ensure their continued pest control in our gardens and countryside. When I tried to find a file to print, they either didn't have the internal partition (as they were aimed at pet hedgehogs), or seemed to be aimed at the much larger printer, where scaling it to fit my print plate would render it too small. However, this can be scaled slightly to fit most build plates and still keep it suitable for hedgehogs and other small animals With an internal partition to prevent paws from easily reaching into the sleeping/hibernation area, and a flat roof that you can pop some stones on for added weight, to a roof bar that will help reduce any rain into the house, this is also suitable for guinea pigs or pygmy rabbits as well as the bigger Hedgehog. This is designed to be printed as follows: - One door corner panel - Three corner panels - Two wall panels - Two roof panels - One Roof bar Print more panels to create an L shape or even a double entranced long dwelling Plus the following optional prints: - Two floor panels - One floor partition Depending on your printer (and how well it behaves that day) you can collate some of the panels on the same plate, placing them…
