[25.04.2025 21:00 UTC | fixed turret (missing radar mounts)] Fully functional radio controlled model of XM975: Roland missiles carrier based on M109 chassis. Can be turned into stand model by using plastic gearbox rod (check Google Drive) READ BEFORE YOU BUY (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uMPiyugUxU1ZRxS2Z1QiNdUT7gB10JHXBTLmc64rHtk) Manual, electronics (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZZDYueyLooMjHR3t7VjYSCDIOt9lIG1h) │Live preview (https://rc3dtanks.site/detail.html#xm975) │video (https://youtu.be/y0DkLxN54y0) Based on Heng Long TK-7.1. supported: - standard HL gearboxes - fully functional suspension - smoke - elevation with SG90 servos - radar with micro motor like this (https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005007647506485.html) VERY IMPORTANT!!! The elevation mechanism for missiles is ridiculously complicated to build properly. You have to lube everything and sand surfaces to reduce friction. And use stronger SG90-like servos because average servo is not powerful enough.
