Description

3° Jet Pump Wedge Flange for Sea-Doo I present the development of a 3-degree wedge flange designed to tilt the jet pump on Sea-Doo watercraft. The prototype was tested on a SEA-DOO RXT 215 with more than 20 hours of operation without any issues. Testing results: 3° – recommended and most optimal setup 4° – functional, but stability begins to decrease 5° – not recommended due to excessive instability We are currently working on a new optimized design. The current model is still considered a prototype, but it performs very well. The photos show a 4-degree wedge installed. With this modification, the jet pump sits higher above the water, reducing drag and providing a noticeable improvement in performance. Installation: Use new O-rings for the two center holes. Apply Victor Reinz silicone sealant between the flange surfaces to eliminate vibrations. Use four M8 × 60 mm stainless steel (INOX) bolts. Secure the bolts with either split lock washers or thread locker. Printing specifications: Material: ABS Layer height: 0.24 mm Infill: 100% Nozzle size: 0.4 mm (recommended) Heated bed temperature: 90–110°C Important: Always install new O-rings during assembly to ensure proper sealing.
