Description

These tiles are based on the Spectre tiles, which can tile the plane, but only aperiodically. Hence the name "Einstein" tiles, since Einstein means "One Stone". These tiles modify the classical Spectre tiles so that they interlock. With this modification, the tiles are truely Chiral, that is, flipping a tile over does not help in tiling. There are two versions, the tight version has a 1/4 mm inset, whereas the loose version has a 1/3 mm inset. Depending on your printer, you may experience buckling with large patterns of the tight version. Even though these can tile the plane indefinitely, doing a large region can be a challenge.
