Description

Rings with customizable diameter and symbol, and three basic options: signet, engraving and embossing. No MMU or Palette required for the multicolor effect. The “signet” or “display” rings are printed in one or two parts (you may use print-on-print if you don't have MMU): the symbol and the ring itself. The “engraving” version is protruding and mirrored, to use with an inkpad or by punching, and the “embossing” option is also mirrored and has the symbol “sunk” in the face of the ring. You can customize the ring size (inner diameter) and symbol; the arrows/triangle are of the symbol are "fixed", but you may choose between arrows and triangle. The total size is calculated automatically upon the inner diameter and the ring thickness. For printing the inwards/outwards relief symbol (embossing/engraving), it's best to lay the ring on one of the sides with the finger hole; if you're using the signet option and the print-on-print technique, lay it flat on its face. Here you'll find the OpenSCAD customizer and the 18.19mm versions for the (RE)DUCE, (RE)USE and (RE)CYCLE, and (3D) PRINT signet rings; and two versions of the (22)PAP use for paper (not cardboard), as well as a .3mf file as example for the "3D PRINT" ring. The symbols have a non-printing tiny fillet to help positioning them. IMPORTANT: The OpenSCAD file uses the Recymbol library (available here at My Mini Factory). Make sure you have it properly installed before running the customizer file; just drop the file…
