STLs STL sets (1/700; open ports, closed ports and FDM, plus a 1/1200 closed ports model) for four ships (Britannia, an "Early" 90, "Early" 98 and a refitted "Early" 98 with Gunwhales, Carronades and a more austere sternpiece) are provided in this product, as well as a Blender Exporter. British Early 3-decker Blender Exporter This covers the earlier ships built in the mid-late 18th Century which were typified by their slightly shorter length of just under 180ft and their impressive galleried sterns. All the 2nd rates were originally built as 90 gun ships and surviving ships were converted to 98 gunners by the addition of 8 guns to the quarterdeck in the early 1790s. Shortly thereafter, carronades started to replace many of the long guns on the focsle and quarterdeck. The classes that can be represented by this exporter are the 2nd Rates – Sandwich (2), Ocean (1), London (4), Queen (1), Barfleur (4) and Duke (4) Classes. The Exporter also covers 1st Rate Britannia of Trafalgar fame which was of a similar length to these 2nd Rates as she was a much older ship and shorter than later 1st Rates. | Download free and paid 3D printable STL files
