Dipstick knows nothing of the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons. He was a lackey for Abdul Fakkadi, who demoted for napping when he should have been caring for Fakkadi's camel. Reduced to working as night watchman in a minor oil depot, Dipstick was approached by Octane because he was literally the first human Octane saw when stealing oil from the depot. Knowing a Targetmaster partner might be helpful as a lookout when stealing oil, Octane offered him a job as his "vice president of protective services." Sadly Dipstick still naps on the job most of the time, but he's better than nothing, if only slightly. Turns into a Flamethrower for Octane.
