Era: WW2 Land: Germany Typ: Jagdpanzer ( Tank hunter) Rolle: Fast sniper tank Story: A vehicle project by Steyr as a special artillery transporter that could not only carry the gun but also fire it on the chassis. To keep costs down and reduce complexity, many components of the Raupenschlepper Ost, a tracked artillery tractor, were reused. The turret and gun came from Krupp. A wooden model and a prototype were built by September 2, 1944.
