Description

Wall hook designed to be printed in a stronger print orientation. I noticed that a lot of normal wall hooks when printed break either along the hook due to the layer lines being perpendicular to the length of the hook or the back plate (for the same reason). This design allows you to print the hook with the layer lines parallel to the length of the hook, increasing the hook strength, and increasing the layer area of the thin back plate. These are the print settings I used (with a 0.6mm nozzle) and the print only took roughly 15 minutes and 2.7g of filament.Print settings:Layer Height: 0.2 mm (0.3 initial)Infill: 100% concentricSupports: NoneSkirt/Brim: NoneI also printed a version with 10% adaptive cubic infill, which didn't save much time or filament.Extra print info:Printer: Ender 3 NeoFilament: PLANozzle Temp: 215Bed Temp: 65Print Speed: 60mm/s (20mm/s first layer)Retraction: 6mm @ 40mm/sSlicer: Prusa SlicerI created the model in Onshape.
