Description

A space saving alternative for the Prusa MK2/MK3 which moves the LCD from the front to the top of the printer. I printed mine at 100% scale but you may need to resize it based on your printers tolerances. I would reccomend printing the new brackets using ABS or PETG but for me PLA worked just fine. I printed mine at 100% scale but you may need to resize it based on your printers tolerances. I would reccomend printing the new brackets using ABS or PETG but for me PLA worked just fine. Try to print the new brackets without a brim or raft as clean up will be easier and you will be able to mount the brackets more easily. Installation is pretty simple:(it might be helpful the remove the LCD cables before step 2)1. unscrew the brackets from the metal frame.2. unscrew the LCD from the LCD cover.3. replace the existing brackets on the LCD with the new left and right brackets.4. screw the LCD back onto the LCD cover.5. mount the new LCD assembly to the top arm of the gantry, like you would mount the spool holder.6(optional). Use some zip ties to mange the LCD cables down the side of the gantry. Happy printing, WaveForm! | Download free and paid 3D printable STL files
