This helps retain your Apple Pencil if your iPad case doesn't do it. I use a Logitch Combo Touch with my iPad Air - great case with a detachable keyboard, but while it allows access to the Pencil dock, it has nothing to hold it in place. I used 30-lb mounting tape to hold it on. Works great!
