WW2 Italian Brixia Mod.35 4.5cm Mortar Shell

UPDATE: 16-4-24 (improved STL file quality) Full size imitation of the WW2 Italian Brixia Mod.35 45mm HE mortar shell. This was a light infantry mortar, its projectiles were nicknamed 'red devils' by Allied soldiers because of the red paint on the tail.. Prints in 7 major parts with a printable hex rod locking the tail and body together. The fuze is optional as it's normally covered by the cap. I included the safety strip as a complete unit, but if you print it, you'll have to cut the ends off and glue them into the provided holes. It will make the cap a permanent install. Otherwise use the STL as a template to make a safety strip from thin sheet metal, and that way it can be easily installed and bent into position, and this way it can be more easily removed if you want to take the cap off. Approx size of complete assy: 130mm (5.1") high and 45mm (1.8") diameter. Great for a WW2 Italian re-enactment kit or for display! You can find my mortar shells collection here on Cults!
