Description

A 3D printable robust and durable Knock Box, for knocking an espresso puck from the portafilter after coffee extraction. The parts can be easily 3D printed, without any support, on a modern inexpensive 3D Printer. They are optimized for a 0.6 mm nozzle but can be printed with other nozzle sizes, including a 0.4 mm nozzle. They can be printed with a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU and many other types of printable materials. PETG and TPU works very well for this application. Both materials are easy to print. The object should be durable, easy to maintain, and last for a long time. PLA may work as well as long as the parts will not be used, stored or kept at in a high temperature environment, exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F). I designed this object shortly after getting a new espresso machine for Christmas and I have been refining it since. The current version has been used multiple times every day, for more than two months. | Download free and paid 3D printable STL files
