I loved Tecwyn's Small Ship design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3167262), but I saw a few areas I wanted to make a few modifications and improvements. I wanted my version of the ship to look like a Cog styled ship, so I created the following files: First, I remixed the cabin to include arched windows that wrap around the back to add visual interest to the side profile of the ship. Like the original, it prints find without supports. I also created a new mast that tapers as it rises and a new tapered yard. These will need to print with some supports or a raft because of the tapers. The mast will require a tiny bit of sanding at the top and bottom to fit into the original ship and into the bottom of the crow's nest. For the new mast, I also created a new crow's nest that has a recess for the mast and a plate to hold rigging. These two pieces should easily center themselves on the mast to superglue in place. Lastly, to add additional rigging (and make this more Cog-like) I created a bowsprit that has some holes for rigging and neatly glues to the front of the original bow. Update: I've added a name placard that can hang off from the bottom of the rear windows. Just import this .stl into Tinkercad (or the software of your choice) and add the name of your ship. I had pretty good luck printing this face up with supports. *Note - tentacles and minis not included, just parts for the ship!
