If your Sony UP-897MD medical printer for professional use does not print, it is because of the damage of this belt, I have devised the solution after not finding the replacement or Ebay. The file consists of a mold which must be printed in solid material, consists of 2 parts and a hole to pass a bolt and keep the assembly fixed while the procedure is performed also includes a spatula to apply the material for the belt. Assemble the mold with its bolt, apply WD40 to be able to take off after dry, in my case I used urethane (automotive windshield glue) must also add a fiber (thread), can be cotton, nylon, silk, or even if you have the possibility of getting fiberglass thread. a first thin layer of urethane, then wind the fiber around the mold, as close as possible the turns to complete the width of the belt, and finish applying more urethane to the top edge of the mold and let dry.
