Description

I'm building my first Predator tank, and I want the turret to be turnable. I needed to create a mount for magnets. The "Body Mount" goes into the body. I suggest keeping the tank's back door unglued, and gluing the Body Mount from the inside. The "Turret Mount" goes into the turret. I suggest putting some glue onto the inner sides of the bottom hole, then placing the mount on a flat surface, and putting the turret on top of the mount. Keeping the top turret's hole open will help you fix any mistakes when gluing. Or, don't be me and just glue the mounts before glueing the parts :D The mount was designed to hold 2 magnets, 5x2 mm each. Choose the strength of the connection: Body Mount.stl - the pulling force is rather weak, since two magnets are about 2mm away from each other. Body Mount v2.stl - the pulling force is stronger, since the magnets are closer together.
