Bulbizarre is a Plant and Poison Pokémon of the first generation. It is one of the starting Pokémon of the Kanto region. Bulbizarre is a small green quadruped with a large head. It carries a bulb on its back. The latter also serves as a storage organ, since it is reported in particular that in times of drought, it can survive for several days without eating thanks to the energy stored there. It has dark spots on the body making think of a batrachian. Its bulb grows permanently by absorbing the rays of the sun, and when the weight of the bulb will be too big and will prevent Bulbizarre from standing on its two back legs, it will mean that its evolution in Herbizarre is close.
