Description

The ArComet Model Rocket is a fully 3D printed Flight capable rocket designed to function using ESTES E-12 size rocket engines. The nosecone is equipped with a Payload section; which was primarily designed to help balance the rocket if needed. These nosecone components are all friction fit and can be glued together for added strength, although this is not necessary. The motor chamber is easily detachable due to the screw-locking system designed for the rocket. This same system is found on the end cap to quickly change out engines to ensure multiple flights. With an Esized engine, the ArComet rocket can roughly reach a 300-400 feet Apogee. You can get better results if you use a cardboard tube as the body. The inner diameter of the body tube is 39mm and the outer diameter is 42mm (3mm thick body tube) ASSEMBLY 1. attach payload cap to payload. slide payload pin into the payload and tie your shock cord to the slot in the payload assembly. slide in the nose cap through the shock cord. 2. press payload assembly into the nosecone. 3. glue 3 body tubes together, you can use the tube hold component to slide in and glue in between the sections, although this is not necessary and I recommend stacking and gluing the tubes to each other. (If you use a cardboard tube, skip this step) 4. glue the motor cage slider onto one of the ends of your long tube body. make sure the part is completely flush with the body tubes and glue it in with the two inner squares FACING OUT. 5. glue the motor…
