Beckman Coulter Biomek FX/NX Wash Station reworked by Egon Heuson

Hello friends! Here is my reworked wash station design that you can find on Beckman Coulter's Biomek FX / NX pipetting platforms. I modified the original wash station so that I could better wash the fixed 100 μL needles installed on my robot. The standard wash station does not help to clean the needles properly. The needles can only go in the station a few centimeters. With this version, you can program your Biomek to wash your needles over more than 10 cm, which is much better when it comes to bacteria in a BioLector plate, for example ;-). Of course it is compatible with both the Biomek FXp and NXp platforms. You just have to screw it in place. I personally taped it in place to be sure that it won't move during washing. By the way, I printed the wash stations in ABS and did a post treatment with acetone vapor to ensure their waterproofness. I updated two versions of the station. A low profile one (the one I'm using) and a tall one for those who want a deeper washing. I will soon download the Biomek settings that I use for this.
