Watch Hanger

Description

This is a digital version of a minimalistic watch hanger I designed for my brother. It is mounted to the wall with any four screws smaller than about 6 mm (1/4 inch) in thread-diameter. The final wall hanger I did was milled out of oak, but I also 3D printed a test piece from PLA filament that works great. Included in the package are files prepared for milling (special support on one part that needs to be sanded away after 2-sided milling is done) as well as parts ready for 3D printing (no support needed). Dimensions of digital part [mm] - after assembly! (X,Y,Z) = (120,96,85). Part format .stl comment: I prefer to make this out of wood - I like the look & feel of it - but I also understand that 3D printing may be more accessible and with all the post-processing techniques available; sanding, painting, even casting (!?) it is possible to make a very fine looking & feeling product this way I'm sure!
