A tetrapod is a four-legged structure, more particularly used in hydraulic engineering as a wave-breaker element. Made of concrete, often reinforced concrete, it has four members whose curved profile is calculated to minimize the impact of marine currents. The design of the structure allows the blocks to be interlocked, which, when used en masse, makes it possible to reinforce coastal protection or even to gain surface areas out of the water on the sea. There are three files, 1 Whole tetrapod and to allow printing of larger models 1 tetrapod in 2 parts, 1 central core a spike to stick on the central core 4 times. You also have a table with the current models with the percentages and sizes to print the one that suits you, (in yellow, it is the file you downloaded).
